Job description

I’m working with a leading sustainability consultancy, and they are looking for a Power Specialist (TV and Films), with the knowledge and ability to design and implement sustainable power plans for on location shoots and studios. You will have a background with electrical systems and understand how to best use the latest technology to provide the greenest solutions, using data analysis to track energy usage and trends.

You will be an excellent communicator and have the personality to manage stakeholders to bring them on the greenest journey and have a background in broadcast/film or live TV production coupled with a passion for sustainability are essential requirements.

Key requirements:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to production and creative people.

Work in a consultative manner with senior production stakeholders

Familiar with generator operations and battery technologies

A technical background in electrical engineering, ideally in the tv/film or events space

Able to analyse technical data and draw the greenest conclusions

Provide the cleanest solution that is compliant to electrical safety regulations and industry standards

You will be working with a small, friendly, highly motivated team, based in Hertfordshire, this is a hybrid role with some travel involved to various sites across the UK.
