Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager to join their consulting team. The role focuses on cost management for power sector projects and involves working with high-profile clients across Distribution, Transmission and Renewables.

The position supports hybrid working and entails in-office presence 2–3 days per week in Ipswich or Sizewell. The successful candidate will demonstrate cost control, forecasting and reporting skills, and be comfortable coordinating with client and contractor teams

Qualifications

• Ideally degree qualification in a relevant subject is preferred.
• Professional body membership or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience with NEC3 NEC4 contract management frameworks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Suitably qualified & experience operating at Cost Management level.
• Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
• Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
• Proactively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely applications.
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables, KPIs and objectives.
• Managing contract change to keep projects within governance and best practice.
• Driving improvements in forecast and budget accuracy.

Education

Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
