Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking an experienced Power Platform Technical Lead for a central Londonbased contract role. • Proven track record leading technical design and solution delivery; ability to translate concepts to business language.
• Strong stakeholder management and senior engagement experience.
• Experience leading workshops and shaping solution direction.
• Previous experience in Technical Lead/Lead Developer/Solution Architect roles.
• Active SC Clearance mandatory.

Power Platform Technical Lead

£570/day Outside IR35 | Central London (3 days per week) | Active SC Clearance Required | Contract until 31 March 2027

We're seeking an experienced Power Platform Technical Lead to join a major programme within a secure environment.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong Power Platform development expertise combined with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, shape solutions and translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience developing Power Apps solutions, particularly Canvas Apps, with a strong understanding of Dataverse and data modelling. You'll also bring practical experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and be comfortable leading technical discussions across both business and technology teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development and delivery of Power Platform solutions
• Act as the technical lead across Power Apps, Dataverse and Copilot Studio
• Design scalable data models and application architectures
• Lead workshops and requirements discussions with senior stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

Required experience:

• Strong Power Apps development experience, particularly Canvas Apps
• Strong understanding of Dataverse and data modelling
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio

• Proven experience leading technical design and solution deliveryAbility to translate technical concepts into business language
• Strong stakeholder management and senior engagement experience
• Experience leading workshops and influencing solution direction
• Previous experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, Solution Architect or similar role
• Active SC Clearance

Desirable:

• Dynamics 365 experience
• Azure services and integrations
• Power Platform governance and Centre of Excellence (CoE) experience
• Previous experience delivering within policing or law enforcement environments

Please note that active SC clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates who do not currently hold this clearance cannot be considered.
