- Adhering to a structured development lifecycle that includes requirements definition, design, development and testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, handover and post-implementation support.
- Keeping your knowledge of Power Platform up to date through self-directed learning and independent exploration of new tools and functionality.
- Recommending the best tools to meet the requirements and develop effective data processes that will underpin daily and periodic reporting activity.
- Managing the end-to-end development lifecycle of Digital assets on your project, including testing, deployment and handover.
- Providing support to users and colleagues in relation to production assets.
You'll need to have:- A minimum of 18 months' experience with Power Platform and SharePoint Online, coupled with a good understanding of the Office 365 suite (including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Teams).
- Expertise in customising SharePoint sites, pages, lists, libraries, documents and permissions management.
- Knowledge of PowerShell, with a focus on SharePoint PnP.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and developing custom applications using Power Apps.
- A solid understanding of actions and connectors for process automation in Power Automate.
- Knowledge of tools like JSON, JavaScript or Plum sail is a plus but not required.
You'll also have:- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A willingness to share knowledge and support the development of others.
- The confidence to ask questions, make suggestions and challenge the status quo.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English) and presentational skills.
- A commitment to working inclusively.
- An aptitude for problem-solving.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Working in a client-facing development role requires a high degree of interaction with colleagues, both from technical and non-technical backgrounds, so the ability to work well with others and maintain open channels of communication is essential.
