Power Platform Senior Functional Consultant

Hybrid - either based at Angel Court, London EC2R 7HJ, or Salford Quays M50 3SP

Occasional travel which shall be reimbursed

How you’ll help us make health happen:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Power Platform Senior Functional Consultant to join the Bupa Health Services Technology team. You’ll support the delivery of our purpose by being a creative self-starter, focusing on using low/no code solutions to automate processes, develop colleague user interfaces, and embed AI into business workflows, creating efficiencies and enabling innovative healthcare products.

This role may involve interfacing with SaaS practice management and EMR products, CRM platforms including Dynamics and Salesforce, as well as O365, ServiceNow, and other platforms.

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with teams across BGIUK Technology, clinicians, business teams, and third parties to design and deliver solutions.
• Provide application or technology-specific guidance to business analysts, architects, and designers to achieve optimal solutions.
• Impact-assess potential use cases and determine how Power Platform components and reusable patterns can be utilized.
• Manage 3rd party supplier resources in a matrix environment, including tech leads and scrum masters.
• Establish and maintain credibility and working relationships with other IT teams, acting as an ambassador for IT within the business community and supporting a customer service culture.
• Understand business objectives and continually seek ways to improve operations, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Skills needed for this role:

• Experience working in a matrix-managed environment with mixed teams including contractors and vendors.
• Knowledge of requirements gathering, analysis, system design, and documentation.
• Deep understanding of out-of-the-box features and solution components of Power Platform.
• Strong comprehension of Microsoft Dynamics including D365/O365, coding standards, and source control techniques.
• Test scripting and documentation skills.
• Experience in developing automation solutions, including RPA, using low/no code tools, and creating effective user interfaces.
• Healthcare delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
