Job summary

Phoenix Software in the UK public sector is hiring a Power Platform Consultant to join our IT Services team. You will design, build and adopt Power Platform solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages and Power BI, including AI-powered automation with Copilot Studio.

You will run discovery workshops, define data models and integrations, advise on governance and ALM, mentor junior consultants and help develop reusable accelerators.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and delivering Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
• Strong knowledge of Power Automate and workflow automation.
• Experience with Dataverse and data modelling.
• Experience building solutions using Copilot Studio.
• Understanding of Power Platform governance, ALM and environment strategies.
• Strong workshop facilitation and customer engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Customer-focused and consultative approach.
• Enthusiasm for emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages and Power BI.
• Design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions using Copilot Studio and Microsoft’s wider AI ecosystem.
• Run discovery, scoping and technical design workshops to understand customer requirements and define appropriate solutions.
• Design Dataverse data models, security structures and application architectures.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with external systems using connectors, APIs and custom integrations.
• Advise customers on Power Platform governance, environment strategy and best practices.
• Facilitate customer workshops and provide solution recommendations.
• Produce project documentation including Statements of Work, solution designs, test plans and handover documentation.
• Support pre-sales activity including customer meetings, estimations and proposal development.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across customer environments.
• Support and mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of internal best practices.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of accelerators, reusable assets and delivery methodologies.
