Full time starting salary is normally in the range £36,130 to £45,413 with potential progression once in post to £48,149

Role Summary
This is a new role within the M365 Team in IT Services, created to support the University’s strategic investment in automation and digital transformation. The post holder will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Dataverse. The role will contribute to the delivery of efficient, scalable, and secure automation solutions across the University, working closely with business analysts, developers, and engagement partners.
You will be joining the University of Birmingham at the beginning of a digital transformation through an ambitious new initiative to accelerate innovation and automation across Professional Services. Supporting a newly formed Technology Innovation team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering AI, Innovation and automation solutions that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve the staff and student experience. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact programme aligned with the University’s refreshed Digital Strategy and People and Culture Strategy.
