Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking Platers for power station shutdowns in Connah's Quay and Hull. The ideal candidate will have a CCNSG card and relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds. Responsibilities include welding and plate repairs using various methods. The role is set to begin immediately, offering competitive PAYE pay rates of £26.75/hr plus a £1.00/hr Cost of Living Bonus. Qualifications

• Must hold a CCNSG card.
• Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds or an Apprenticeship is necessary.
• Experience with heavy industrial sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform plate repairs and conduct welding on steel plate.
• Use oxyacetylene equipment to remove sections of plate.
• Set out, mark, and cut steel plates.
• Repair plates, pipes, channels, and brackets.
