Job summary

IC Resources in Nottingham is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop power electronic circuits and systems across the full product lifecycle. You will create schematics, support PCB design, and perform simulations, testing and validation of hardware designs.

Collaborating with embedded, mechanical and systems engineers, you will contribute to design reviews and assist manufacturing and product improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics or related discipline.
• Experience designing power electronic systems.
• Strong understanding of analogue electronics and power conversion techniques.
• Experience with schematic capture and laboratory testing.
• Knowledge of DC-DC converters, power management or motor control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
