Job summary

Ipsum Power is seeking a Project Manager in Carnforth to lead site operations, manage contracts and deliver projects within quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, field oversight of staff and subcontractors, and a focus on customer satisfaction across Power Division projects.

The right candidate will drive performance, manage resources, and ensure timely and economical project delivery, aligning with Ipsum Power policies and objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Project Management position in Power Distribution Transmission.
• Overhead Lines experience essential.
• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification.
• Experience in assessing and certifying sub-contractor payments.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of site staff, sub-contractors, vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor health, safety, quality and environmental performance on sites.
• Ensure all incidents are reported, investigated and remediated.
• Monitor performance and safety requirements and implement improvements.
• Survey and quote projects based on contract schedules of rates.
• Ensure resources are adequate for workloads and timely delivery of projects.
• Ensure policies are implemented, monitored and audited.
• Operate in compliance with company policies and instructions.
