Power Distribution Engineer – Competitive Salary – Abercarn, Wales, NP11 5AR

The Role

Are you experienced with power distribution systems? Do you want to lead electrical projects from design through to delivery? We are seeking an experienced Power Distribution Engineer to join our team in Abercarn.

This role is suitable for someone confident in project delivery, electrical analysis, and team management on infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for designing, managing, and improving power distribution systems across client sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety and compliance standards. You will also liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure transparency, efficiency, and technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and upgrade 12kV power distribution systems
• Conduct system analysis and provide technical recommendations
• Lead site surveys and manage installation teams
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs
• Troubleshoot and investigate faults
• Produce reports and technical documentation
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance

• Excellent stakeholder communication and reporting skills
• Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings
