What You Can Expect

The newly formed Commercial Data & Insights team is responsible for establishing and leading the EMEA commercial data strategy, providing impactful insights for strategic decision-making, and monitoring business performance. This team plays a key role in Zimmer Biomet’s digital and data transformation, improving internal processes and customer interactions.

This team seeks a Power BI Process & Data Lead to support commercial team members by managing Power BI inquiries, maintaining communication channels, ensuring data quality, and enhancing user experience. Responsibilities include cross-functional coordination, developing self-service tools, and continuous process improvement.

How You'll Create Impact
Reporting Operations & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary contact for Power BI inquiries, resolving issues related to data definitions, inconsistencies, and updates.
  • Coordinate with IT, FP&A, Controllership, and Customer Experience teams to resolve data and reporting issues efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized FAQ and communication platform for training materials, data definitions, and Power BI updates.
  • Enable self-service capabilities for commercial teams to track updates on territories, targets, and accounts.
  • Monitor data quality issues, report trends, and support governance and improvements.
  • Gather user feedback to improve Power BI usability and visualization.
  • Participate in Monthly Cross-Functional Data Governance calls and support follow-up actions, reporting status to senior management.
Power BI Dashboard Maintenance and Development
  • Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards within the Data & Insights scope.
  • Design and develop new dashboards, integrating multiple data sources with accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to visualize advanced analytics outcomes.
  • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, usability, and user experience.
What Makes You Stand Out
  • BSc or MSc in business administration, science, engineering, public health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence or Data Analyst, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive audiences and supporting strategic decisions.
  • Strong background in business operations, project management, and execution within a commercial setting.
  • Proficiency in Power BI support, troubleshooting, and report management, including knowledge sharing.
  • Experience with ETL, data modeling, mining, analysis, and process improvement.
  • Adaptability and team collaboration skills, with a flexible mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Awareness of legal and corporate data management guidelines.
