You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management of the organization, helping to understand and manage key financial drivers. Success in this role requires a proactive, inquisitive individual who examines data in detail to identify trends and key drivers. You will use analytical skills to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and support decision-making.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand financial performance drivers.
  • Establish organization-wide KPIs to measure performance.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI or Excel.
  • Assist in preparing statutory and grant-related returns.
  • Support compliance with financial policies and procedures in line with standards.
  • Manage funds including restricted, designated, undesignated, and endowment funds.
  • Assist with grant applications and management.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and notify management of non-compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with experience in Power BI, Power Query, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience creating visual reports and dashboards from complex datasets.
  • Proven ability to automate processes for efficiency.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels in an inclusive manner.
  • Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
