Job Title: Contract BI Developer / Data Analyst - Manufacturing Sector

Location: Midlands (Hybrid - 1-2 days/week onsite)
Contract Length: 12 Months
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

We're working with a leading manufacturing business seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer / Data Analyst to support their data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can translate complex data into actionable insights.

Role Overview:

As a BI Developer / Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering high-impact dashboards and data models. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand operational goals and provide data solutions that drive performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Build and optimize enterprise-grade DAX models for scalable reporting.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Interpret data within the context of manufacturing operations to support strategic decisions.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
  • Ability to understand and map business processes to data models.
