Job description

Power BI Developer

Location: Manchester (One day a week on-site)

Salary: GBP50,000 (Apply online only) to GBP60,000 (Apply online only) + bonus + healthcare cash plan

Are you ready to take full ownership of Power BI reporting in a business that is building a data function from the ground up?

We are working with a pharmaceutical company that is scaling fast and investing heavily in data. They are at the start of their journey, and they need someone who can step in, take charge of reporting, and help shape the long-term Power BI capability across the business.

What’s the opportunity?

You will be the first Power BI hire in a newly formed data team. The Head of Data has recently joined and is building a high-performing team from scratch. They are moving everything into Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI will sit at the heart of their reporting strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders in manufacturing, logistics, and commercial teams to bring data to life and improve decision-making.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone excited by owning reporting end-to-end and helping shape how data is used across a business.

What are they looking for?

  • Solid Power BI development experience, including DAX, data modeling, and report/dashboard building
  • Comfort working with stakeholders and understanding business needs
  • Experience working with large datasets from different systems, ideally in supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics environments
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem; any exposure to Fabric is a bonus but not essential

Why join?

  • You will be supported by high-performing data professionals
  • You will get to build something from the ground up and leave a lasting impact
  • The business is investing in tech, training, and modern tools
  • Flexible hybrid working with 1 day a week in a modern Manchester office
  • Great benefits including bonus, healthcare cash plan, and training opportunities
