The Role & Key Responsibilities
Sussex Police is using analytics to improve the way we police, both in terms of operational effectiveness and organisational efficiency. Our aim is to put the best possible information into the hands of frontline officers to save them time, help them target resources and make better informed decisions to keep the public safe.
Corporate Development Department (CDD) are delivering advanced insight into the extensive and complex data held by Sussex Police using Fabric. Over the next year the team are working on a number of projects and therefore we are recruiting an additional developer for a year to support the Power BI developer capacity in the team.
This role will be key in helping the team to continue at pace the work we do to design and maintain Microsoft Fabric Artefacts focusing on Semantic Models and Reports.
The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for transforming data from a variety of different sources into Microsoft Fabric Artefacts.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate, transform, and consolidate batch data at scale into analytics solutions, from raw to curated.
Be part of a team who act as single point of contact for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI service delivery and improvement
