Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced data analytics and BI specialist to join our specialist project controls function in the UK. You will drive dashboard development, data mapping and analytics across capital projects, supporting data-driven decision making with Power BI and advanced data integration skills.

You will work on diverse projects, extract insights from large datasets, and shape database solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading reporting and analytics in capital projects or programmes.
• Experience delivering business reporting solutions using analytics tools.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data sets.
• Ability to extract and link data using SQL.
• Advanced Excel formulas with VBA for reporting automation.
• Power BI setup and analytics expertise.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience leading service, process and system improvements.
• Knowledge of schedule, cost, risk and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand client’s data and systems.
• Map end-to-end data processes and data flows.
• Develop wireframes, proofs-of-concept or dashboard specifications.
• Develop dashboards in Power BI to support data-driven decisions.
• Evaluate, design, implement and manage database solutions.
• Extract and integrate large datasets from multiple sources.
• Setup and maintain automated reporting processes.
• Provide technical expertise in delivering business requirements.
