A leading company is seeking a Power BI expert to manage installations and develop data solutions. The role involves building dashboards, understanding business requirements, and integrating data sources. Ideal candidates have over five years of Power BI experience and relevant certifications, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Power BI Installation and Setup: Handle the complete installation and setup of Power BI.
Understanding Output Requirements: Analyse and understand the reporting and output needs of the business.
Data Sources Integration: Identify, connect, and manage data sources.
Access Requirements Management: Define and implement access requirements for various users.
DAX File Creation: Build and manage Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) files.
Business Requirements Comprehension: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Logic Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the logic behind data processes.
Process Flows Development: Design and implement process flows for data handling.
Mock-up Creation: Develop mock-ups of the outputs to be reviewed by stakeholders.
Report Definition: Define the scope and specifications for reports.
Dashboard Build: Create and maintain Power BI dashboards.
Refresh Rates Management: Set up and manage data refresh schedules.
We have built a data lake so some configuration will need to be done to import data.
Requirements:
Proven experience using Power BI (Minimum experience 5 years).
Relevant licenses and certifications.
Technical point of view: Azure Synape, DevOps.
Strong understanding of business and data requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
