OA Group is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst in Cambridgeshire to lead Power BI dashboard development and analytics across Distribution, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and IT. You will transform complex data into meaningful information, driving operational and strategic decision-making.

The role requires advanced Power BI development, strong SQL, and experience with large datasets, plus the ability to present actionable insights to senior stakeholders and maintain robust

Qualifications

• Essential: Advanced Power BI development experience.
• Essential: Strong SQL knowledge.
• Essential: Experience with large and complex datasets.
• Essential: Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Essential: Experience presenting insights to management-level stakeholders.
• Essential: Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Desirable: Experience with Manhattan Active WMS.
• Desirable: Experience with SAP and Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Analyse data from systems including AS400, Fabric, Manhattan Active WMS, SAP and financial systems.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities and root causes, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop, maintain and enhance reporting and performance metrics across warehouse operations, inventory, transport, customer service, labour productivity, costs, budgets and financial performance.
• Ensure reporting information is accurate, relevant and aligned with business requirements.
• Own the validation, modelling and management of data used within reporting solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and adherence to reporting standards across multiple business systems.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve analytical capability.
• Enhance existing dashboards and increase the accessibility and value of business information.
• Partner with stakeholders across Distribution, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and IT to understand business requirements and prioritise reporting needs.
• Deliver business intelligence solutions that support operational improvements and strategic objectives.
