Job summary

VIQU IT is partnering with a Cambridge-based manufacturing company to hire a Business Intelligence Analyst. The role focuses on turning operational and financial data into actionable reporting and recommendations.

You will design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, use SQL to manipulate data, and own reporting across warehouse operations, inventory, transport, and costs. The site offers on-site work with a transition to agile after probation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Power BI development to build operational and financial dashboards.
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to manipulate data.
• Experience working with large datasets commercially.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve Power BI dashboards that support decision making.
• Own reporting across warehouse operations, inventory, transport, customer service, labour productivity, costs and budgets.
• Utilise data from various sources (Fabric, WMS, SAP etc.) to spot trends, risks and root causes.
• Validate, model and manage the data behind reports.
• Automating manual reporting and finding ways to make information easier to access.
• Working with stakeholders across the business to understand what they need, prioritize it, and deliver.

Up to £38,000 per annum plus bonus

A leading manufacturing company is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to design and maintain reporting and analytics in their distribution centre.

The role will work closely with Distribution, Supply Chain, Commercial and IT. It is focused on turning operational and financial data into reporting stakeholders use, and into recommendations that change how the site performs.

Job duties of the Business Intelligence Analyst
