PowerBI Analyst needed for finance company in Cheshire.

I’m working with a fantastic business based in Cheshire that’s looking to bring a Power BI Analyst on board to support their continued growth and focus on data-led decision making. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building clean, insightful dashboards and wants to have a genuine impact across the business.

You’ll be joining a supportive team and working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, shape data, and deliver solutions that drive performance.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Designing and developing Power BI dashboards tailored to key business functions

Writing well-structured DAX and Power Query code for data modelling and transformation

Collaborating with teams across the business to understand and translate requirements

Ensuring data accuracy, clarity, and value in all reporting

Using basic SQL to support data preparation when needed

Key Experience Needed:

Strong experience using Power BI in a commercial setting

Solid skills in DAX and Power Query

Comfortable shaping data from various sources into clean, useful insights

Basic SQL knowledge

A problem-solving mindset and confidence working with stakeholders
