Our client is a reputable company looking to expand their team of Machine Operators.

This is a site-based role, ideally suited for candidates located in Chesterfield.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a machine operator and a strong commitment to health & safety. A strong work ethic and adherence to SOPs are essential. Experience with Air Jet Mills is a plus.

Details - Machine Operator

In return for your dedication, you can expect:

• GBP29,603.76 per annum

• Rotational shifts (Days, Nights, Afters) - 8 hours

• Monday to Friday

• 20 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays

• 40-hour workweeks

As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, operating, and monitoring air jet mills and classification equipment

• Following safety protocols and conducting PPE checks

• Wearing appropriate PPE including respiratory protection, goggles, gloves, and protective clothing

• Recording findings accurately and maintaining production records

• Lifting materials weighing up to 25kg

• Sampling products at intervals to monitor quality and reporting deviations

To succeed as a Machine Operator, you MUST have:

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills

• The ability to lift 25kg and perform tasks involving standing, bending, and repetitive motions

• Ability to wear RPE

• A proactive, hardworking attitude

• A commitment to high health and safety standards
