Poultry Stockperson – Staffordshire - £31, + Accommodation
The Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Poultry Stockperson to join a well-established and respected farming business in Staffordshire. This role will involve the full range of stock duties on a free-range chicken farm, including:
- Rearing table poultry from day-old chicks through to depopulation
- Conducting daily stock checks to ensure optimal health and welfare
- Maintaining the correct environment and hygiene standards (bedding, feeding, shed cleaning/prep)
- Driving and operating farm machinery
- Participating in a weekend and catching rota (approx. 50 hours/week)
- This is a practical and hands-on role for someone committed to animal care and farming excellence

The Candidate
- Positive, hardworking and proactive individual
- Previous livestock or farming experience is desirable, but not essential
- Must enjoy working outdoors in all weathers and thrive in a team-based environment
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn – full training will be provided
- Ability to operate farm machinery is a bonus (training can be offered)
The Package
- £31, annual salary
- Accommodation provided (mobile home)
- 28 days holiday (plus 1 extra day per year of service, up to 5 years)
- Permanent role with immediate start available
