Poultry Stockperson/ Machine Driver/ GFW job

The job involves working within a team for a highly regarded poultry business in the Thames Valley. The business is diverse, including events and property. The primary role is on the farm team, growing approximately 100,000 turkeys across four farms. As a fully integrated business, the role includes brooding, growing, processing, and transport operations all managed in-house.

The ideal candidate should speak fluent English and hold a valid UK driving license. Experience in machine operation is preferred, but training can be provided. All poultry-specific training will be conducted in-house, including enrolment in the UK-recognized poultry passport scheme. Licenses, tickets, or prior poultry/gamekeeping knowledge will be advantageous and reflected in the remuneration. Accommodation is available in a static mobile home.

The role involves daily poultry checks from May to December, estate management, caring for a small herd of beef cattle, machinery operation, and general farm work. From January to May, the focus shifts to infrastructure and improvement projects within the farm.
