Farm Assistant

Are you passionate about poultry farming and looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact?

The Job

  1. Animal Care: Daily feeding, watering, and monitoring of poultry to ensure their health and well-being. Recognizing and addressing signs of illness or distress promptly.
  2. Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in poultry housing, including regular cleaning of coops, equipment, and surrounding areas.
  3. Health Monitoring: Observing poultry for signs of disease, injury, or abnormal behavior, and reporting concerns to farm management.
  4. Biosecurity: Following established biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of disease within the farm and adhering to biosecurity measures when entering or leaving poultry areas.
  5. Assisting in Vaccination and Treatment: Assisting with vaccination programs and administering treatments as directed by farm management or veterinary professionals.
  6. Farm Maintenance: Assisting with general farm maintenance tasks such as fencing repairs, landscaping, and other duties as needed.

The Candidate
