Job description

Agricar are looking for a Service Technician to join our busy Forfar depot to carry out service work on a range of potato machinery, including leading manufacture brands Standen and OXBO, as well as competitor models.

This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a position within a successful business, working with a dedicated team, where an excellent rate of pay and competitive benefits package is on offer.

Required Skills & Characteristics:
  • Knowledge of modern agricultural machinery, technologies and farming practices
  • Proactive
  • Ideally a strong agricultural background
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Maintain company image by appearance and conduct
  • Support and mentor apprentices when required
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs both in workshop and on site
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Administer job cards, timesheets and mileage forms with relevant information
