Job summary

First Call Contract Services, Ltd. is seeking Grader Operatives near Horncastle, Lincolnshire to sort potatoes for Walkers Crisps and others. The role is outdoors, with a moving conveyor belt, from 07:00 to 19:00, five days in seven. Excellent pay at £13.50 per hour and full support to new starters.

No prior experience is required; you will be trained and supported to succeed in the role. You’ll need safety boots and weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort potatoes on a moving conveyor belt and remove bad potatoes, grit and stones.
• Maintain quality to ensure only market-ready potatoes are used.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Adhere to safety procedures and footwear requirements.

Due to excellent growth our client requires a team of potato graders, to assist in only the best potato for Walkers Crisps and many others.

Excellent pay at £13.50 per hour

Role Description for Grader Operative:

• 5 days in 7
• Outdoor work - in all weather
• Working by a moving conveyor belt
• Removing all bad potatoes, grit/stones and everything that shouldn't be in the mix
• Able to work under pressure.
• Working on your own and as part of a team.
• Note: safety boots are required and all weather clothing

Hourly pay:

• Graders £13.50 per hour

Working hours:

• 07.00am to 19.00pm
• 5 days in 7 days
