Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Delivery Postie with Driving for a permanent role on a 30-hour week, covering Tobermory and Aros delivery offices. You will work 11:30–18:30 across Monday to Saturday, with some flexibility to cover both locations as required.

Role requires a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, plus a positive, community-minded approach to serving customers on the doorstep. A welcome bonus of £1,500 is offered.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to walk long distances in all weathers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels on your fixed route across Tobermory and Aros Delivery Offices.
• Walk routes in all weather conditions and maintain accuracy and security of mail.
• Provide friendly service to customers and colleagues as part of the Royal Mail team.

Due to operational requirements, you will be required to provide cover at both Tobermory and Aros Delivery Offices, if requested.
