Delivery Postie with Driving

Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 30:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 08:00 and 16:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work weekends with one in three Sundays on a rota basis.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver mail and packages on a designated route, primarily on foot and by van where applicable.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being a friendly, visible presence in the community.
  • Work outdoors in all weather and keep yourself physically active.
  • Maintain a current, compliant driving license for driving duties.
  • Adhere to health and safety and security procedures while delivering.
Qualifications
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
  • Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
  • Think of yourself as a people-person and a friendly face in the community.
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.

  • Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of 1.25x for more than 40 hours a week.
