Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Lancing is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels, on a rotating schedule across Monday–Sunday. You’ll work outdoors, in all weather, building strong customer relationships and staying active with route-based duties.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence, physical fitness for long walks, and the ability to pass a driving assessment. Training is provided, with a uniform and a red van supplied.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.

Job type: Fixed Termcontract(6 months)

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.Working hours: 30:00hours per week - working5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday - 09:00/15:00*
