Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Delivery Postie with Driving at the Birmingham Delivery Office. This fixed term contract role is 35 hours per week, across five days including weekends, with shifts from 07:00 to 15:00. You will securely deliver items on your route and support the local community.

Ideal candidates are upbeat, customer-focused and comfortable walking outdoors in all weather. A full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required, and full uniform is provided along with

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work weekends.

A Bit About You

• Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35- 37hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Postie, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
