About the role

We are looking to recruit PGTA's to support various modules within SRI for the next academic year, for up to [number] hours. In this role, you will:

  • Assist in preparing teaching materials, liaising with the Module Leader regarding handouts, practical exercises, notes for assignments, etc.
  • Undertake first and/or second marking for student assessments and provide detailed feedback.
  • Coordinate attendance monitoring activities for the groups supported.

You will also collect evaluation data and student feedback to support module reviews and improvements.

About you

In this role, you will:

  • Receive support in developing your teaching practice, including mentoring and departmental guidance for seminar support.
  • Get guidance on small group facilitation, assessment, and feedback.
  • Have the option to attend the UCL Arena One Teaching Associate Programme and apply for an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

You must currently be a UCL PGR Student or be registered as one by the start of the academic year, with demonstrable knowledge in a relevant subject area.
