You will manage your own academic research and administrative tasks, adapting existing and developing new scientific techniques and experimental protocols. You will contribute with ideas for new research projects and for generating research income, and present detailed research proposals to senior researchers. You will also contribute to laboratory management tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

This post is based at the Old Road Campus Research Building (ORCRB), Oxford, OX3 7DQ and it is offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis for three years.

Excellent project management abilities to coordinate research activities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced research environment are essential together with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience or interest in bioinformatics andin vivowork (holding a personal licence) would be advantageous.
