Zusammenfassung

The Rosalind Franklin Institute invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to develop methods for in-situ structure reconstruction from tissue data, focusing on cytoskeletal and mitochondrial changes during aging and disease.

Working with Imperial, UCL and Oxford, you will help coordinate specimen procurement and data acquisition, and contribute to pipeline development for molecular organization analysis in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifikationen

• PhD/ DPhil in a relevant field or equivalent
• Experience with cryo-electron tomography or in-situ structural biology methods
• Strong data analysis and computational reconstruction skills
• Ability to work in multi-institutional teams

Aufgaben

• Develop and streamline computational approaches to in-situ structure determination from tissue sources
• Lead and contribute to projects advancing macromolecular analysis in aging and neurodegeneration
• Collaborate with clinicians and partner institutions to prepare tissues and acquire high-quality data
• Plan experiments, analyse results and deliver reports, manuscripts or patents
• Supervise students or visitors and contribute to team mentoring
