A position is available for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the laboratory of Silvia Marino in the Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence for 12 months. The successful applicant will lead a multi-organisation collaborative project focused on leveraging novel epigenetic datasets obtained from patient-derived tumour stem cells of pediatric brain tumours (Vinel et al BMC Biology 2025, Constantinou et al Cell Reports 2024, Vinel et al. Nature Communications 2021) to develop new personalised therapies.

The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 350 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre and supports a combined total of around 750 postgraduate research and taught students.
