About the role
Applications are invited for two Postdoctoral Research Associate positions in Chemical Biology to work under the supervision of Professor Yimon Aye for up to 24 months. The project involves using cultured cells and vertebrate animals, particularly zebrafish, to understand reactive metabolite signalling pathways relevant to disease states. The position is funded by ERC.

About you
Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or a related field (or be close to completion) before starting. The research requires experience in interdisciplinary areas including small-molecule chemistry, biochemistry, cell-based studies, and model organisms.
You will be expected to manage your own research and administrative activities, including small-scale project management and coordinating multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
The position is based at the Department of Chemistry, Chemistry Research Laboratory, 12 Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA, and Rodney Porter Building, Sibthorp Road, off South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QU, and is available immediately.
