A prestigious UK university is seeking two Postdoctoral Research Associates in Chemical Biology. The positions will involve research on reactive metabolite signalling pathways using cultured cells and zebrafish. Applications are invited for two Postdoctoral Research Associate positions in Chemical Biology to work under the supervision of Professor Yimon Aye for a period of up to 24 months. The project involves the use of cultured cells and vertebrate animals, particularly zebrafish, to understand reactive metabolite signalling pathways relevant to specific disease states. This position is funded by ERC.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or a relevant subject area (or be close to completion) prior to starting. The role requires experience in interdisciplinary research, including small-molecule chemistry, biochemistry, cell-based studies, and model organisms.
You will be expected to manage your own research and administrative activities, including small-scale project management to meet deadlines.
The post is based in the Department of Chemistry, at the Chemistry Research Laboratory, 12 Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA, and Rodney Porter Building, Sibthorp Road, off South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QU. The position is available as soon as possible.
