Applications are invited for a Senior Research Associate in Design for Sustainability to work alongside experienced professors with a well-established research portfolio. The successful candidate will contribute to developing new areas in the field, especially design's relationship to social and environmental sustainability, human values, the climate crisis, and the green transition.
Requirements include a PhD in design, sustainability, or a related area, a strong record of peer-reviewed publications, self-direction, knowledge of research methods, and the ability to synthesize and present findings effectively. Competence in 'research-through-design' is highly desirable.
The role offers opportunities to develop skills in funding applications, establishing research partnerships, and engaging with practitioners across design fields. There may also be opportunities for lecturing, seminars, and supervising student projects, depending on career goals.
