We are seeking
a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Machine Learning to join the Visual Geometry Group (VGG), in central Oxford. The post is funded by Toyota Motor Europe and is fixed-term for 1 year with a possible extension. Reporting to the Principal Investigator, you will help ensure a healthy and vibrant research environment within the VGG. This will involve conducting research in deep learning, at the intersection of reinforcement learning, deep learning and computer vision, in order to train effective robotic agents in simulation. You should hold a relevant PhD/DPhil (or near completion) in Machine Learning, Computer Vision or Robotics. You should have a strong publication record at the principal international computer vision, machine learning or robotics conferences, and should hold sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge of deep learning methodologies.
