Swansea University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate working at the interface of theoretical cosmology and gravitational-wave physics. The role focuses on connecting theory with current and future observations and involves collaboration with leading researchers in the field.
The successful candidate will explore early universe physics and dark sector phenomenology through gravitational-wave data, contributing to a stimulating environment linked to major collaborations
The Particle Physics and Cosmology Theory Group at Swansea University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the interface of theoretical cosmology and gravitational-wave physics, with a particular emphasis on connecting theoretical developments with current and future observations.
We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated researcher with expertise in these areas, broadly defined, and a strong interest in exploring the fundamental physics of the Universe through gravitational-wave observations. The successful candidate will investigate how gravitational-wave experiments can probe the physics of the early Universe and the nature of the dark sector, working in close collaboration with Azadeh Maleknejad, Gianmassimo Tasinato, and Ivonne Zavala.
Our group is actively involved in several major international collaborations, including LISA, NANOGrav, Euclid, SKA, and the Einstein Telescope. The successful candidate will have opportunities to engage with these collaborations, contributing to a stimulating research environment that brings together theoretical advances and observational prospects.
