The University of Oxford seeks a postdoctoral neuroscientist to investigate cognitive map failures in psychosis. You will plan and conduct experiments, analyze behavioural and neural data with computational methods, and contribute to publications and conference presentations.

Qualifications

• PhD in neuroscience or closely related field.
• Experience running animal behavioural studies and neurosurgical techniques.
• Expertise in simultaneous neural recordings across multiple brain regions and optogenetic manipulations in behaving animals.
• Strong programming and quantitative skills (Python).
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping abilities; clear scientific communication through publications/presentations.
