Job Description:

The Oxford-Hyundai Motor Group Foresight Centre is a major research centre located within the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School. Funded through a generous research sponsorship from Hyundai Motor Group, the Centre is led by Oxford strategy faculty Rafael Ramirez (Director) and Trudi Lang (Co-Director). Focusing on six high-impact themes, the Centre contributes significant new research to the understanding of foresight in business strategy and produces impactful outputs for practitioners.

The role

Reporting to the Centre directors, Rafael Ramirez and Trudi Lang, and working closely with Rehema Msulwa and other faculty, the post holder will conduct independent and joint foresight research related to business strategy. They will undertake research on two or more high-impact themes and lead one of the Centre's research topics — futures of standards — to understand how foresight informs strategy. The role involves engaging in academic and industry collaborations, producing scholarly articles, practitioner reports, and developing content for various publications. The post holder will build relationships within the Centre and with industry partners, contribute to research reports, and support the Centre's activities.
