Funded by the Economic and Social Research Council's Secondary Data Analysis Initiative, led by Dr. Stephen Ashe, this project aims to offer an intersectional re-reading of foundational sociological data from Britain. The project will analyze datasets deposited with the UK Data Service, including interview documents, researchers' notes, and supplementary materials digitized by the University of Essex.

The successful applicant will work with Dr. Ashe and Professor Vikki Boliver, leading thematic qualitative analysis of the data, supporting project administration, and contributing to at least four peer-reviewed journal articles, including leading one. The role involves flexible start dates between January and March 2025, with hybrid working options. In-person meetings are expected 1-2 times per month in Durham, with potential travel for data collection and conferences.
