Job summary

The University of Edinburgh invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Division of Global Agriculture & Food Systems within RDSVS. Contribute to the Horizon Europe Nutrifeeds project on transforming livestock feeding across Europe, using your analytical skills and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You will manage data collection, surveys, and modelling efforts, working across Europe with partners, and contribute to policy-relevant outputs and publications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical capability with research outputs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Adaptability to multi-country, interdisciplinary project environments.
• Experience with data collection and analysis in agricultural settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver elements of the Nutrifeeds work programme.
• Lead farm-level data collection and semi-quantitative surveys.
• Analyze regenerative/circular livestock feeding systems; model using R/Python.
• Design analytic workflows and contribute to evidence synthesis.
• Disseminate findings via publications and presentations; supervise junior researchers.
