Job summary

Agri-Web Limited is seeking an experienced R&D Scientist to lead cutting-edge weaning pig nutrition trials and translate findings into practical product developments. You will work with university partners and internal teams to advance sustainable pig production.

The role emphasizes experimental design, data management, and statistical analysis, with collaborative, international research opportunities and a strong focus on turning research into industry-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of experimental design, data management, and statistical analysis.
• Experience using statistical software such as JMP, R, or similar tools to analyse and interpret research data.
• Ability to communicate scientific findings clearly with internal teams and external research partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, set up and manage weaning pig nutrition trials, including protocol preparation and diet formulation.
• Process trial data, conduct statistical analyses, and prepare clear scientific reports.
• Lead and support external research projects with university and research partners.
• Collaborate with R&D researchers, Technical Area Managers, and laboratory colleagues to coordinate research activities.
• Support sample collection activities, including blood and faecal sampling, when required.

Your experience may come from industry, academia, a research institute, or a university research environment, including PhD or postdoctoral research roles. Practical experience delivering pig nutrition trials will be highly valued.
