Job summary

The University of Liverpool is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate or Research Associate to join the Outcomes Tracker project in Health Data Science. You will develop NLP and ML methods to extract outcomes from registries, protocols and publications, and work with a multidisciplinary team to curate data and build reproducible software.

• PhD (or near completion) in computer science, data science, AI/ML, health data science or related.
• Strong experience in NLP or machine learning and programming.
• Commitment to transparent, reproducible research and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate NLP and ML methods to extract and compare outcomes across sources.
• Curate datasets and build reproducible models and software.
• Create practical tools to identify outcome-reporting bias and assess COMET uptake.
