The University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work on temporal reasoning and ultrasound video analysis as part of the Turing AI World-Leading Fellowship.

You will design and pilot machine learning‑based analysis models, collaborate with clinical experts, and evaluate models in simulated and real clinical scenarios, based at the Old Road Campus.

The post is fixed term for 24 months and funded by UKRI.

Qualifications

• PhD/ DPhil in a relevant field with publications in medical image analysis or computer vision.

Responsibilities

• Design and pilot testing of ML-based automated ultrasound video analysis models that incorporate temporal reasoning.
• Collaborate with clinical domain experts to design and evaluate models in simulated and real clinical scenarios.
• Evaluate model performance in quantitative and qualitative studies.
