University of Strathclyde invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Biomolecular Assembly and Microreactor Chemistry. The role is a 1.0 FTE fixed-term appointment (35 hours/week) with a contract until 29 September 2028, following an initial end date of 29 February 2028.

Qualifications

• PhD level in an appropriate discipline or near completion.
• Experience in molecular self-assembly and/or biomineralisation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop stimuli-responsive self-assembly and biomineralisation strategies.
• Collaborate with device engineers to design microfluidics environments for the project.
• Coordinate with chemists and biochemists to optimise sequences and production.
• Establish systematic workflows to track experimental progress and deliver milestones.
