Job summary

University of Oxford is seeking a researcher to contribute to the Blavatnik School of Government’s climate policy research hub. You will design methods, analyse evidence, and shape projects that explore how climate policy interacts across sectors and jurisdictions.

You will manage research activities, contribute to publications and funding proposals, and engage with policymakers and partners. A PhD in a relevant field and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD/ DPhil in a relevant field or near completion with research experience.
• Strong knowledge of climate policy, regulation or governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to publish and present research.

Responsibilities

• Design and adapt research methodologies for climate policy studies.
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative evidence and compare across contexts.
• Develop new research ideas and contribute to funding proposals.
• Engage with policymakers, regulators and other stakeholders.
