Job summary

The Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Oxford Climate Policy Hub. The role focuses on climate policy, regulation and governance, with opportunities to shape projects, publish research, and engage policymakers.

You will collaborate across sectors and jurisdictions, design methodologies, analyse evidence, and contribute to funding proposals while representing the research group at meetings and events.

Qualifications

• PhD in public policy, political science, law, economics or international relations or a related field.
• Strong specialist knowledge of climate policy, regulation or governance in one or more sectors or jurisdictions.
• Experience contributing to research publications or presentations and developing funding proposals.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Hub's research on climate policy, regulation and governance across sectors and jurisdictions.
• Design and adapt research methodologies and analyze qualitative and quantitative evidence.
• Develop research proposals and funding ideas and present findings at conferences and events.
• Engage with policymakers, regulators and partner institutions and share methodological expertise.
